Version & Color

yesterday I ordered this product and I have some questions:
- is it the GT version?
- is it on stock and when will it be shipped?
- I did not select a color (did not see the select buttom) how can I change it to black?
- does it have GPS?

Window N50/N50GT 5 inch Capacitive Android 4.0.3 1GHz 8GB , this one is GT versions, yes it's in stock and usually, 2-3 days after your oayment, we ship you. Color, please see the place upper of: add to cart" you can see a place for choosing color.
Also, you can email sales@merimobiles.com to change color.

I ordered this and received it today, they said it came with android 4, I can confirm it does not it comes with 2.3.1, it is also the N50 not the N50gt. The battery icon is very unreliable, and the auto-rotate on the screen does not work well, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't when it does the icons / clock dont fit on the screen. My charger doesnt fit right into the device so it often doesnt even charge. To be honest, I am very disappointed.

Is this tablet in stock right now? Do you have the screen protector for it? because the screen size is not common.

Hello, I would like to confirm that the version currently available is the GT and it is coming to Android version 4.0. The video and photos available here on the site is the N version, so do you have some video or photos of the GT version? Is there spare battery for sale?

hi is this (the gt version) now in stock? i have the dt version (i reflashed it the latest english firnware), and its really a good and unique tablet.definitely more affordable than the samsung 5 wifi, and itouch 4,with more features too.also,it can fit mostly anywhere, and very handy to use.hence i want to upgrade to the gt version.please alert me when its in stock. thanks

Except for the batter who's capacity is modes, by searching the internet, I have read v. good reviews so far for this tablet. It seems the tablet is out of stock... Can you tell me when are you restocking?

I received the product promptly and it is nice to use, although the batter life is not great. I am having difficulty finding a driver to use for my Windows XP or Windows 7 system. The drives I've found online don't seem to work. Can you post instructions on how to get the driver and also the latest firmware.

nice device, skype video chat really works

i happy with this device. but you should correct screen resolution in the description - it should be 800*480. it is ok for this device, touch is also very comfortable, cpu is very fast. this is my first experience in 5 inch android tablet, i owned 7 and 8 inch before. I can say that, I like this size! it looks like samsung galaxy note, but cheaper. Also I can say that factory firmware not so bad, I use it, I will wait ICS for reflash.

I received this product 2 weeks ahead of time. Just in time for Xmas. Product works great though I have to make a case for it though. Product arrived with well protected "coverings." Anyway, kudos and I will write a review on this. Definitely will buy another one from this store. Help me in my next purchase: which 7-inch tablet you will prefer for me to purchase? 1) Witstech A91, 2)Teclast T760, or 3) Ramos W6HD

Hi, I was wondering if it's the same item as on the company's site here http://window88.com/chinese/pro_show.asp?pid=36&p_name=Tablet%20PC. Theirs says 1.2 Ghz and yours 1.0 but same model. Also, where do you guys ship from? China or Canada? I wonder how long it takes with airmail to arrive to state of Washington.

I purchased this tablet for my young daughter for Christmas. Merimobiles shipped it VERY quickly. The unit is very well built and works great. The Android 2.3 has some Chinese apps, but everything that is necessary is in English. Graphics are nice, Wifi is good, and the speaker and camera work fine. I am very happy with this unit and Merimobiles.

Will you have directions on how to install the new firmware soon thanks for your help . And will any rk2918 firmware work with the n50dt. ANSWER: Yes we will make a pdf guide to show how, not all firmware will work on it, however for all rk2918 units the update procedure is the same, thanks will it still be up sometime this week if not could you give me a link to the firmware from the developers website. thanks

Hi, First of all I can't believe it has 800x600 (that's rather unusual), all other sources say 800x480 Is it N50 or N50DT - it's important difference! And does the package include charger - according to many sources it can't be charged via USB Thanks in advance

Will the Window N50/N50DT run apps like Aldiko and OverDrive? It seems like a silly question to ask, but I had to return a 5" Android 2.2 device (at another seller, not Merimobiles) because it wouldn't run these apps or about 75 percent of the other Android apps I tried.

ANSWER: biggest difference is the size 5" vs 7", they can both install sdk 2.0 with the 3.0 UI like interface, so its really a question of size, thanks

This device is quite good. There is little lag. Switching programs and running office app is smooth. Battery life is average. Capacitive screen is also responsive. But do not expect too much. It is a gd device for ebook reading. Bought a few items from merimobiles and all came without any damage. Good service from them. Will continue to buy from them.
