great little phone

this is a great little phone with good features: dual sim, gps etc. all works nicely.
But comes with its own UI and needs to be rooted for play store.
So far I could not find instructions for how to root. Merimobiles: could you provide (link to?) instructions how to root this phone?

i ASKED FOR PHONE THAT WAS SUITABLE FOR THE USE IN THE NETHERLANDS. I MEAN THAT THE APPS LIKE
PLAY STORE MUST BE INSTALLED. I GET ONE THAT YOU ONLY CAN USE IN ASIA.
I HAD EXPECTED THAT THE LANGUAGE WHICH WAS INSTALLED WOULD BE DUTCH AND NOT CHINESE EN ENGLISH.

thank you for taking the time to post a review, the Google Playstore is suited for world use, there is no google playstore for Asia only. This phone is mostly sold and use in Europe it is suitable, you can add Neterlands language by going to the google play store and search : morelocale 2. to install the market on the lenovo a660 you need to root the unit, thank you

Hi. I love the phone!! but the battry time is terrible. I hope this is a phone malfunction. So i wonder if it is possible to order a generic battery instead of sending it back for repair? Thank you.

please submit a support ticket, did you get through full 6 battery cycles after that you will get longer battery lasting time, it also depends on your usage

Can you help me finalize order?
1. If I mark generic battery +9.99USD, do I get an extra battery? What capacity if not same as original?
2. What item to select for English system menu and google play installed?
3. Is shipping to Czech republic free and what company does the delivery (airmail, dhl, ...)?

Impression of the overall positive (compare to Lenovo a750).
pro: ip67, dual-sim, fast, weight, price, responsive.
cons: small battery, craftsmanship - feels like a toy, not a IP67 phone (compare to motorola defy).
Resume: there is no alternative for him now (ip67, dual-sim) - it's the best
