It means that I have to buy a regular win 7 version? If so, it could be upgraded to Win 8 i suppose. What about Ubuntu Linux distro, is it possible to boot and install from the USB ports?

Yes its possible to intall from USB, and Win8 trial version has been tried on this aswell, thanks

if you get the 3g do you still get bluetooth or do you have to pick one or the other
