Is it possible to use the A60 as a modem / for internet-access via 3G/GPRS with my notebook? If so: how is it possible to connect them? 1. via USB-cable? 2. via Bluetooth? 3. via Wlan? Thank you.

I heard it only support Chinese Telco sim card? or the phone is flashed with a custom ROM? Hi they are unlocked and will work with sim cards all over the world, thanks

Which quadband ?

In the video, it's said that this celphone is quadband, but in text I can't see if it works in 850 Mz network. Does it work in 850 Mz ?

Add market instructions are either expired, or download limit on USendit has been reached. Can you please EMAIL me the instructions to add the Market to the A60 ASAP, as my daughter is returning to University tomorrow, and needs her phone fixed before she goes!!!

skype and custom firmware

Hi, just ordered the phone form your website. I have the following two questions: 1) does skype not work at all with this phone? even over wifi or 3G from UK? 2) where is the link for rooting and install custom firmware and ROM for Android Market and Google Account?

Root the A60 and install Android market

EDIT: Hi, I followed the instruction for rooting the A60, and I manage until I need to paste the files to the folder "/system/app" where I can't switch the phone to "mount r/w". I pressed the button many times, but it doesn't switch and therefore I can't complete the root. Can you help me with this? What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance! i appreciate any help with sourcing a user manual in english.....you did not answer my request for help with installing the english android v2.3 market.....i have followed the instructions from your previous post on the website but still cannot install the gapp apps in the system app folder.....it continually prompts me with a read only error.....i have also installed root explorer v2.13.3.....i hope you can offer me some assistance, other wise the phone is useless with the chinese android market....regards

Yesterday I received A60 I ordered. I ordered it because Merimobiles guys assured me that I will be able to install android market on it. I tried to install it, but it doesn't work. I'm very disappointed. Need help asap, please

Yes you can, install the android market on it, check the video review posted on our website the market is Installed, all you need is to root the unit, than download the instructions we put on the firmware download page, and you will have the working market, thanks

hello, i am considering in purchasing this phone. i do have a few questions. 1) why is it when i search online especially the phone being sold in Asia (particularly China), the one over there is 1Ghz snapdragon cpu? 2) i also read a review by pcmag.com saying that even though the gsm and cdma versions of this phone is similar to US carriers (i.e at&t & verizon), they claimed it won't work on any of them pls advice. Thank you

1) we get it in the chinese market directly from lenovo and its 800mhz unless there is a new version if so please show us the link
2)can you be more specific on this quetions, it will work on gsm networks, for the 3G it works with 900/2100MHz 3G networks , please check with your operator if they work with these networks, please advise, thanks
