-case is sides and the back cover, you can check the jiayu g3 cases on the webiste
-it needs to get rooted and install playstore, chinese apps can be removed by going to the app menu, click on the app that you do not want and than you have the choice to either uninstal or disable

I use this phone for more than 1 week, well not a long time but I've got first impressions.

+The glass seems to be very tough, no scratches yet.
+If you're not a "hardcore" user, the battery lasts for ~2 days, but at least 1 day (in my experience, you can load the battery at night anyway).
+The processing is also well.

-The GPS is not so accurate (testet in Germany).

Summarized I can say that the price is very good for the performance, though I didn't find a SAR-value for the Jiayu G3 :/

I was shocked by how good this phone turned out to be, it is a 400-450 Euro phone for 150, 5/5 from me anyway, handles any app you throw at it and 24-48 hours battery life but best of all is the beautiful screen.

You'll be hard pushed to find a better phone for the money. Plus there's an official update to Android 4.1 (JellyBean) on its way from Jiayu.

The good:
1. Good quality, high resolution screen
2. Huge battery
3. Solid build quality

The bad:
1. Only supports 2100MHz 3G
2. A bit chunky

Excellent phone, very fast, Dual core 1Ghz processor and 1Gm ram means it runs all the latest games. Screen quality is superb. The only negative for me is that it feels a little light. I know it has gorilla glass and I've seen how tough that is but I'm a little concerned about the build quality given that it is so light. I bought this G3 for my daughter and I already have a Zopo Leader 900 and that is a really solid phone.

The serveice from Merimobiles was exceptional with delivery to the UK in just about a week. I would definitley buy from them again and have reccomended them to everyone that asks about our Chinese phones.

I purchased this phone from merrimobiles about two weeks ago and it's a really great phone and the service from merrimobiles has been second to none so good in fact a friend of mine would like one, the only problem is that the greek language is not supported so if this can be sent with greek installed we would be happy and order another one

I've recently ordered and purchaced this phone and I am more than satisfied till now.
The screen is very big indeed with very high resolution so you can watch easily videos,photos and whatever you want.You can also read even books because of the big screen.The games I'm playing like NFS Most wanted look just fantastic.No lag and very smooth movement.The camera is ok, not perfect but does its job.The battery seems to last 2,5-3 days with normal usage which is very good.A superb and very beautiful phone considering its price.

Are you sure it has quad band WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz? The Jiayu's own website says it only has WCDMA 2100MHz.

I've heard a lot about it being qHD instead of HD, can you confirm if the screen is 1280x720?
