  1. First impressions

    After some kind of mixup that did not show tracing info I contacted merimobiles track email and the pad came about two weeks later ..still within the free shipping delivery promise- so I am happy with that.
    I have done no rooting or flashing so pad is native. Google play was on it and worked fine with my account. Had to get netflix 1.7.0 from www.iapktop.com ..it works fine but playstore version did not. Also got youtube from xda developers-- googleandroid youtube-3505.apk. it works fine. All other aps that I got from playstore work fine, and it allowed me to install the ones I purchased a long time ago for my android 2.3 phone. These include lookout security, tape machine, quick office and others. A few were not compatible with this pad, but that's to be expected.
    I like that I can also see the screen fine outdoors on a sunny day as long as I have some shade. Browsing is quick.


    Flash 10 . something is already installed and worked with the few pages I tried except it did not work on the adobe flash test page??? Still I am not too worried about that.
    For now I am very pleased with this pad as I don't like having to flash new roms just to get it to work as on other pads I have owned. I would give it 5 stars but need to use it more to be sure. I think the price is about right on this at $199, especially if you can find a coupon!

    This product is great and relatively fast. Specs are almost identical to the iPad 2 but with twice the power. Not to mention is running on Android ICS (love to see an update to Jellybean). I think I can fit in the iPad accessories to this tablet. It is worth the pay if looking to something close to the iPad but Android powered. Best bet yet! p.s. Shipping was extremely fast!     One hiccup is using built in Ethernet. There is no Ethernet port and apparently Merimobiles has no idea how to utilize this feature of the tablet. Otherwise I'm quite satisfied with the tablet.
