The question for potential purchasers is simple: are you willing to give up a SMALL amount of compatibility, for amazing battery life? I was, and I'm 100% happy with my purchase - which was cheaper than an Amazon Kindle, but does so much MORE! My only query is... does it work with either external keyboards or USB "memory sticks"? Merimobiles seems happy to SELL keyboards with this model, but seem to sell a different model of keyboard with the (basically the same) Novo 7 Basic. Has anyone actually USED a mini-USB keyboard case with this tablet? Hint, with such a small bezel - it looks LOST in the standard "one size fits all" case.
ANSWER: Thank you for taking the time to post a review, its truly appreciated, thank you

No front or rear camera, no bluetooth, can't access the full andriod app store or run many apps due to not having an ARM processor. (If anyone can give me an idiots guide to rooting, or fixing, or whatever, please do, thanks).
Why five stars?
Because I still consider it somewhat a small wonder. Cheap, nice slim bezel (maybe the slimmest I've seen).
Great battery.
Good video. Web browsing with no lag, but sometimes slow webpage download/crash, but I see other tablets suffer from this also. Plays utube via the utube app if you install the ics 4.0.3.
The wifi is ok.
No Cam, but the cheap devices that do have cameras usually have bad quality cameras.
Portable size & looks great in a cover/case.
Unless you can afford the ainol aurora (which is actually a bit larger in size, & has a glossy finish - I may prefer the paladin 'matt' finish, plus the bezel on the paladin is smaller.) This is a nice little device to go for.
Unassuming, handy, & often pleasing.
ANSWER: thank you for taking the time to post a review on the unit, here is a good place to get information on rooting the unit: http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/23750-root-ainol-novo-7-tasselhof-root-market-script-tools/page__st__100, thanks

The video says the Paladin has 2 point multi-touch. Other sites say it's a 5 point multi-touch.
Which is true?
ANSWER: Its 2 point multitouch, thanks

Hi, I received my Paladin last week and so far I have been having fun with it. I'm glad it comes with Document To Go so I can read doc, ppt, xls and also pdf files. Together Dropbox life becomes easier.
My question is: what do I need to make it works with 3G network?
Thanks, Lih-Sin The
ANSWER: Thank you for taking the time to post a review on the unit, for the 3G you will need a sim card, a USB 3G dongle than you can make it work, thanks

pros: slow tablet all around from internet browser to the home meanu...the wifi is very weak..you cant download many games from the market place because the hardware is so sucky it cant support anything its all around a piece of crap i dont see how theres any good reviews...much be y'alls first mobile device because i have a acer iconia a500 witch is amazingly fast should invest in one your self..i also have a htc incredible s witch has about the same hardwave and is very very fast its like night and day with this little tablet
cons: battery life, micro sd card, seems solid for something very plastic
my thoughts it seems like aniol doesnt really care to much on how there software is they been shooting out all these slighty different tablets out there ass its rediculous hopefully theres a update that makes it half way any good
ANSWER: Thank you for taking the time to post a review on the unit its well appreciated, I do feel that the paladin still does a good job as an entry level tablet at and entry level price, its not really a fair comparison with the the Acer Iconia:) thanks
